Sharjah Police Inaugurates New Vehicle Inspection Center in Al Suyoh

Sharjah, UAE – In a move aimed at enhancing service accessibility and improving traffic safety standards, the General Command of Sharjah Police has officially inaugurated the new “Shamil Al Ihsan” Vehicle Inspection Center in the Al Suyoh – Al Mawrid 2 district. The new facility was launched in cooperation with Emirates Petroleum Products Company (Shamil) and Sharjah Asset Management Holding.
The initiative aligns with Sharjah Police’s ongoing efforts to expand the reach of their services across the emirate and its outskirts, aiming to raise the quality of life and provide faster, easier access to technical inspection services for vehicles.
The inauguration ceremony was attended by several dignitaries and senior officials, including Brigadier General Dr. Ahmed Saeed Al Naour, Director General of Operations and Security Support at Sharjah Police; Ali Khalifa bin Shahin Al Shamsi, CEO of EPPCO (Shamil); and Ibrahim Al Houti, Executive Director of Support Services at Sharjah Asset Management. Also present were Colonel Khalid Al Kai, Director of the Vehicle and Driver Licensing Department, and Colonel Mohammed Ahmed Al Mahrazi, Head of the Vehicle Technical Inspection Section.
In addition to the new Al Suyoh facility, Sharjah hosts a well-established network of vehicle inspection centers operated by trusted entities including Tasjeel, Shamil, and ADNOC. These centers play a key role in ensuring road safety and facilitating vehicle registration and renewal services.
